I love everything about hosting a summer get-together. The countless hours spent perusing Pinterest for inspiration. The decor. The food presentation. The creative cocktails. The casual conversations. The way a vision comes to life after weeks of planning. The fact that it stays light outside until well near 9pm. Having all of your favorite people in one place. I love it all.
So naturally, when I got a case of Miraval rosé in the mail, a backyard makeover and summer soiree was in order.
I’ve been mooning over a dreamy backyard setup for years now, and was happy to finally make my very own California-boheme sanctuary come to life thanks to some of my favorite brands and a few [too many] pit stops at HomeGoods.
There are so many key players when it comes to an inviting outdoor patio— ample seating, optional shade, functional pillows, a self-serve bar, dust-free rugs and plenty of greenery.
Here’s how I set up mine, courtesy of Miraval Provence rosé, Sincerely Us Shop wall art, Ebb and Thread mudcloth pillows, and Vienna Woods umbrella + outdoor friendly furniture.
It’s no Maui bungalow or Korakia Pensione, bohemian resort, in Palm Springs— but it’s my combination of the two, and it will do.
